DRINK DEVELOPMENT AND BEVERAGE FORMULATION SERVICES IN DETAIL
This is our beverage development services and management process that we can provide you in developing your product. They are in order as follows:
a Formulation Conceptualization – This includes identifying consumer need, product ideation, beverage development research of ingredient amounts and identification of macro and micronutrient targets.
a Ingredient Formulation Design – This includes benchtop formulation of macronutrients, micronutrients, shelf life requirements and flavors.
a Beverage Formulation – Formulation will be placed on a spreadsheet utilized by beverage industry manufacturers and will contain the following information; amounts per serving, amounts per batch, & formula percentages.
a Prototype Creation, Sensory and Refinement - We will present to you, prototypes of your beverage for your approval. Together we can run a small cost affordable sensory panel to get feedback on taste and functionality (effectiveness i.e. energy drinks, functional beverages).
a Flavors – Formulation of a number of flavors (if required).
a Costing Review - Supply costing and ingredient origin for purchasing for review.
a Nutritional Lab Analysis and Labeling - Perform lab analysis and supply regulatory labeling text for final product (not graphic arts).
a Scale Up - We can also help you plan and co pack manage a small pilot (or large full scale) production run for you at a partner co-packer facility.
a Quality Control - Identify and implement QC requirements to chosen co-packer.
a Product Review - We will also review product point of differences with your marketing and/or sales team to maximize understanding of the beverage (if required).
